Changing gear with vehicle technology
Google’s driverless car took to the streets of America back in May 2012, first permitted in the state of Nevada, followed by Florida and then California. The UK is following suit, with the Government recently announcing that self-driving vehicles will be tested on public roads later this year.

It’s that time of year again - the countdown to Christmas is on for the supermarkets. The big four have started vying for our custom this festive season with deals and offers galore on all manner of goods – from the food variety right through to toys and technology. And we’re certainly no strangers to supermarkets expanding beyond groceries and provisions, to introduce fashion lines, home ware, white goods and financial services to their stores. But this year, Tesco has become the first supermarket to launch an own-brand tablet computer.

HTML5 or Native, that is the question
It’s difficult to miss the current media fanfare surrounding
HTML5 - it promises to be the write-once-run-anywhere way to develop mobile
apps. Cheaper and faster to develop than native, HTML5 is a
tempting proposition for today’s fiscally pressurised corporate sector.
However, look beyond the hype, and you may find HTML5 does not live up to
expectations.
